U.R.G.E. acts to help children. Where there is a lack, U.R.G.E. seeks to make enduring contributions: to improve the communities in which children learn, live and grow, in hopes of nourishing their future.

U.R.G.E. Agenda

Awareness

  • Keep in touch with current events and political climates which affect children.
  • Look for the communities that need a little help, be utilitarian in actions to assist.

Educational Means

  • Monitor those who monitor. Know the sources.
  • Provide links to the most accurate and unbiased information.

Take Action

  • Continue to raise funds
  • Provide the means for individuals to act together

2001

U.R.G.E. Co-presents at the Human Rights Watch Film Festival

Ziggy provided the live musical introduction to the film "Life and Debt" at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center. The film was directed and produced by Stephanie Black.

U.R.G.E. and Airline Ambassadors Donate to Children's Home

Donatation to Marigold's Children Home, Maxfield Park Children's Home, and Mustard Seed includes school supplies, health kits, toys and jungle gyms sets.

U.R.G.E. Hosts Medical Mission

Two dentists, a general practitioner and a nurse at the Stepney Basic School in Nine Miles, St. Ann. provide basic health and medical examinations. U.R.G.E. also donates incubators, blood pressure machines, bed linens and toys to twelve hospitals in Jamaica.
