Ziggy Marley opens LAFC game as honorary falconer, team debuts Bob Marley tifo
Ziggy Marley made a special appearance alongside his wife, kids, sister and nephews at the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) match this past weekend, serving as the day’s honorary Falconer! The match was also made extra special, landing on the new national holiday Juneteenth (June 19th), as The 3252 – the team’s independent supporters union – debuted a brand new Bob Marley tifo.
The Black and Gold ended the match in draw, with Jose Cifuentes scoring in the 50th minute, but allowing Houston’s Maximiliano Urruti to also score in the 58th. See below for social posts by Ziggy and the team from after the event.
